Rounding Task Cards
This set of "mini' rounding task cards can be used in countless ways in your classroom to improve your students' "fluency" with rounding skills.
I often use task cards for math workshop or guided math stations. This set is a set of “mini” cards—and I used them in a number of different ways.
Use a set as a “sort” where student sort them into piles of “rounds up” and “rounds down”.
Use as a class activity where each student gets a card, rounds it, then the class lines up in sequence order based on their rounded numbers.
Use as an independent activity to practice rounding.
Use with intervention students for additional practice and instruction.
Use as a math station—self checking!
