This Roll and Round game is designed to help students practice rounding to the nearest ten and to the nearest hundred.
Students roll a die to determine whether to round each number to the nearest ten or nearest hundred. I find that this simple activity makes practice/reinforcement fun for students. This file includes five practice sheets and a template for a die. The format of each sheet remains the same, so once kids understand the activity they can focus on mastering the skill of rounding.
Even if you give each student the same sheet, their answers will be different, based upon the rolls of their die. For this reason, I find this activity handy as a simple in-class assessment.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look!
