You are looking at a 7-page smart notebook rounding lesson. The pages could be used all at once as whole group rounding to the nearest ten practice or the pages could be broken up and used over multiple days. The lesson could also be used as a great center activity.
Included in the lesson are the following smart notebook activities: one number line review page, two vortex activities,one balloon pop activity, one vortex-like activity which accepts/refuses numbers, and one page of independent questions including an open-response.
I used this with my third graders after introducing rounding to the nearest ten using number lines. I did it as a whole class review except for the last page- students completed this independently.
