I use this material during the beginning of all my classes. I first teach each slide at beginning of the year. Then I will have students learn the questions and the answers by having them talk to the partners. For example, I will say "Ask your partner which year is it now" or " Tell your partner it is sunny today". The first lesson takes a little bit longer. After you introduced each slide, it goes much faster. I use the slides for 15 minutes everyday and it becomes a routine lesson. Later on, I choose one to student to come to board and ask all the questions and the rest of the class will then answer those questions. I choose the same student for one week and then the role rotates. During the second year (semester depending how often you meet the class), I will have one student ask the questions, and another student write down the answers for the questions. During the third year(semester), I have one student ask the questions while another student write down the questions together with the answers on the board. This way they practice questions with when, where, how, what...etc. I also teach them phrases that are relating to the immediate environment. Usually 5 days for a phrase repeatedly. Later on, those phrases and questions become very easy for them. You can also add other phrases that you think are important for them learn.
