Students will enjoy matching the subjects to predicates to make puzzles in this activity. It is perfect for small groups or literacy centers. Students match puzzle pieces to make sentences and decide if the sentence is serious or silly and record it on the sheet.
This activity includes directions for teacher and students, 2 sets of 3 pages of puzzles (one set color, one set black and white), and a recording sheet.
