This PDF document includes a rubric for students to assess their behavior in class. This reflection tool could be used to reinforce students' positive behaviors through recognition or reward, or to help students recognize inappropriate conduct and identify ways to improve. Rubric descriptions are structured as "I…" statements to encourage student responsibility.
Students are asked to reflect on their performance:
- entering class
- completing the warm up
- during instructional time
- during group activity time
- during independent work time
Students can simply cross out or record "N/A" or "Not Applicable" for elements of the rubric that did not fit your lesson's structure.
