Students create a telenovela utilizing vocabulary and grammar learned in class. The vocabulary and grammar is open ended and project may be adapted to different levels of Spanish. The level of this rubric is for Spanish 4, AP, or IB. It works well at the end of the year when students have learned a lot, but again, teacher may modify and instruct students to utilize a certain set of vocabulary words. The rubric is two fold. One part is for the actual video and one part is for the script. If given time in class to work on script and filming, project will take a couple of classes. Otherwise, it may be done at home.
