This rubric allows teachers to evaluate the process for any group project. I typically use this in conjunction with a second rubric to evaluate the final product. This way, students are held accountable for the work completed along the way and for how well they work together in a group. Points are awarded in the following categories: division of labor, meeting of deadlines, research, and overall quality of work. In each category, students can earn between 1-4 points. A formula is included for converting points earned into a grade on a 100 point scale, standardized so that a student earning all "4"s will receive 100, a student earning all "3"s will receive an 85, all "2"s will earn a 70, and all "1"s will earn a 55. This rubric can streamline your grading process!
