Great for Back to School Rules, Social Studies: Learning about Laws, and Comparing Rules vs. Laws. Ideal for students with special needs and children with autism because picture symbols are used! Can be used as a cut/ paste or a center's activity! Includes Standards!
★Instructions and Description:
1. Go over each rule or law and its meaning with students.
2. Have students cut out the word cards and picture cards. If printed in black/ white, have students color picture cards.
3. Have students take turns reading each rule and finding the corresponding picture.
4. Glue matches next to each other on large construction paper.
*Cards can be laminated and used for a matching game or cards can be used as a cut and paste activity on large construction paper.
Also, includes discussion questions, two worksheets, and two writing prompt worksheets!
*Activities can be used as a whole group lesson or during centers.
