This is a discovery activity to help students learn the coordinate rules for rotating a figure in a coordinate plane! You can keep the sheets as is, or cut them in half and staple them together has a little booklet.
The coordinate planes contain the original figure and the image after each type of rotation (90, 180, 270). The angle measures for the rotations are also shown as a visual for the students to see why each rotation is labeled with its specific degree number. The students are to identify the original coordinates of the original figure and the new coordinates of the image and try to identify the rule!
