Are you ready to rumble in the jungle and go wild about comparing numbers? This 56 page file includes 4 hands on activities to teach comparing numbers to your wild ones. Each activity includes a set of teacher directions and colorful jungle themed activity cards. Specific activities include:
1. Safari Sort- -(a game similar to musical chairs) students move around the room with a number card. When the music stops, it's their job to determine if their number is greater than/less than a listed number on a "rumble mat" at an open seat.
2. Crocodile Rock (partner game)- students work together with a partner. They will draw 2 alligator number cards to compare.
3. Hungry Hippos- students will play the game "Hungry Hungry Hippos" to compare the quantities that each hippo gobbles up.
4. Swing & Spin!- students will spin spinners to create comparision equations.
