This group, partner or individual activity has students listen to a version of Rumplestiltskin, paying attention to how the characters behave and what they do. Once the story is finished they have to decide the guilt level of each character and who is the most and least guilty. They also have to explain their choice. This activity can be done with grades 2 to high school. The responses are great and hearing rationals for why they ranked the characters is a great discussion point for character analysis.
