This originally written fractured fairytale reader can stand alone, but I feel would be more effective if used in conjunction with the well-known fairytale, Rumpelstiltskin. I did create two activities for teachers who just use this reader and do not use Rumpelstiltskin along with it. The Flesch-Kincaid reading level is 2.6.
I have included compare/contrast activities so that teachers can read both selections with their students and then have students compare/contrast both. This is a vitally important skill for today's standardized testing. I hope you enjoy this product.
