Product Description
Run-ons and Fragments TicTacToe Game → Editable files! Revised in July 2016. This game provides partners the opportunity to differentiate complete sentences, sentence fragments, and run-on sentences. This is Tic-Tac-Toe with a twist! I created these game cards with excerpts from Maupassant’s short story “Two Friends”… you can easily use this activity as a pre-reading exercise before exploring the original work as well as his choices about punctuation (as well as the impact of those choices!)

This lesson is a part of my Sentence Grammar Games Bundle, a complete set designed to teach conjunctions, phrases, clauses, sentence types, and sentence combining strategies... visit my page again to check out this fun collection for your 9th and 10th graders--and save over 33% on a selection of 14 games and activities!
