This is a short activity to be used with a small collaborative group of 4 to 5 students. This activity will allow students to apply their knowledge of problem solving of multiplication of fractions. Each group needs a set of cards, each student in the group should receive at least one card. Students should read their card, “clue”, aloud to the group without showing the card. Groups should work on one piece of paper to draw the pre-image and the image. Students should read their card as many times as necessary to solve the puzzle.
