Student will collaborate with their business partner to design a product that does not yet exist. They will set a price, determine how much it costs to make the product, and market the product to their peers by designing a brochure that showcases the product. The teacher will then compile the different brochures (either scan the documents or post them up in the classroom) and students can use the check given to them to purchase the product from their peers. The money/collected checks students earn within a given time frame will be the assumed daily rate of sales. They will use this dollar amount to calculate business expenditures and profit to determine how successful their business is.
