These cards can be used in several ways to teach the Russian Revolution. In my class, each student gets a copy of each person. The students then have to decide which figure they would a) want in their family b) want for a friend and c) want to kill. This creates some exciting conversation and debate as students consider the Russian Revolution figures on a personal level.
Another idea would be to create a simulation where you presented the class with a crisis facing Russia and had teams for each figure. Each team would have to decide how their figure would address the crisis.
