These lessons are intended to last 10-15 minutes per day and function as your sight singing lesson. Before you purchase this or any other bundle, you should read all of the detailed product descriptions of the lessons included in this bundle. The individual lessons are located in my store. This will help you be very clear about what to expect before you buy. This program is cumulative in nature and is intended to be completed in sequence beginning with Lesson 1 and ending with Lesson 27 to achieve the best results. With the S-Cubed System and philosophy, your students will stop moaning when you teach your sight singing lessons! Most book methods are incomplete and skip too many steps in the teaching process for our young beginners to have success in learning to sight sing and few methods are aimed directly at Middle School students. This method is designed to improve the process of teaching sight singing so that it is a more enjoyable one for both the teacher and the students.

Before purchasing this bundle, please read all of the individual product descriptions for Lessons 21-27 in my store so you will learn exactly what to expect! Each of the individual product descriptions and preview packets includes a YouTube video preview link in which I share with you what to expect in each 10-15 minute daily Sight Singing lesson.

This bundle will take approximately 4-5 weeks to teach when you follow the recommendations if you see your students daily.

For your convenience, here is a list of a few of the major goals of Lessons 21-27 are:

*Focus on the “math” of music to help our students understand the tools they will need to deal with syncopated rhythms.
*Finalize the development of independence during “Chaos” by focusing on how to deal with the most difficult measures of the custom-built sight singing examples.
*Sight singing two-parts for the first time! We work on developing their skills to ensure success as they work through this difficult and important step in the sight singing process that will benefit your choral music teaching in ways you didn’t imagine possible with beginners in this age group.
*We refine their ability to deal with what happens when it doesn’t go as planned! We’ve been doing that all along in the S-Cubed process, but we shine the light brightly on it at this moment!
*We crystallize the philosophy of S-Cubed by referring to our students as “Smart Singers” as they finish the process…because that is exactly what they are. They are independent. They are competent. They have been given the tools to survive even when they stumble. It is much like “life” really…and that is the philosophy of the S-Cubed process.

The philosophical lessons we teach in the S-Cubed process are much bigger than singing an eight measure two-part sight singing example, and that is one of the biggest reasons the S-Cubed Sight Singing process is enormously rewarding for the teacher as well as the students. We get to engage our personalities as we teach our students this life-long useful singing tool as well as the much bigger life lessons they may not understand until much later in their young lives!

S-Cubed is a systematic, methodical, fun way to teach your young beginners how to Sight Sing successfully. Classroom management often improves as does the relationship between the teacher and the students through the philosophies and methods taught in S-Cubed. Teachers who have taken their students all the way through the entire 27 lesson system have taught their beginners how to independently and successfully sight sing in 2-parts with difficult syncopated rhythms and skips. Many of those teachers, including myself, accomplish that in 6 to 8 months depending on how often they see their students in just 10-15 minutes per day.

This method is absolutely intended to be cumulative in nature. Teachers should begin with Lesson 1 and implement each lesson progressively and regularly. It is recommended that you purchase all 27 lessons in order to achieve the best results.
