Did you know targeting complex sounds such as /s/ and /f/ blends can help in articulation of other sounds too?
We practice a lot of blends around here and I've created a collection of a few of our favorites.
*Over 20 colored pictures targeting the blends /sw/, /sl/, /sk/, /sn/, /sp/ and /fl/ in 1- to 3-syllable words. I like to cut and laminate to make flashcards.
*Over 20 black and white duplicates perfect for copying and sending home for extra practice
For those mixed arctic and language groups I've also found the cards extremely helpful for category sorting (e.g., Find all the animals/vehicles/food/clothes), following directions related to descriptions (e.g., Give me the pink bird with long legs), and building understanding of functions (e.g., What do you wear to the beach?)
These are perfect anytime but pair especially well with my Penguin Preposition activities:)
I hope you enjoy! (And if you do, leave some love in the feedback section!)
