Discriminating between the sounds of s and sh can be very challenging for some students. This minilesson focuses on multisensory techniques for helping your students FEEL as well as HEAR these sounds, and learning to discriminate between them. This product includes a minilesson outline, a picture sort, and a board game for additional, fun opportunities to practice this new discrimination technique.
As a certified Orton-Gillingham tutor, I designed this product for my many students who struggle with /s/ versus /sh/ discrimination. This minilesson will provide you and your students with a technique for FEELING the sounds; they can lean on this technique until they develop automaticity.
