This power point was created to be used in a 30 minute block of instruction for elementary students receiving pull out SAI services. The word problems are multiplication with a trick addition problem thrown in at times. The students have to use previously learned decoding skills to determine if each problem is indeed multiplication and then work out the word problems. The problems are meant to be used for direct instruction and modeling, and then independent practice as the students progress through the power point.
