In this cultural mini-unit, students will learn about tourism in Louisiana and follow models to write a post card using the passé composé in the first person singular. It created in an easy to follow format and includes a peer, self and teacher feedback rubric and a final evaluation rubric.
Use this as a stand alone mini-unit or to complement your existing unit on francophone speaking communities in the Americas. I use with my grade 7 class in Ontario, Canada as a spring board to our Mardi Gras celebration and after teaching about Acadian culture.
