S.A.L.L (Speech and Language Lessons) for ALL is full of fall themed lessons that align to the Common Core State Standards! Within each of the 4 themes, there are several activities that can be used with students in kindergarten through 5th grade.

-Apple associations: match a green apple with a red apple
- Apple sentences: practice expanding sentences using color and size adjectives, communication board included
-Apple types: learn about common types of apples with these nonfiction passages and answer comprehension questions, worksheet included for your students to color as they read about each apple
-Apple directions: follow 1-3 step directions with concepts
-Apple articulation: open-ended apple game for mixed groups
-Apples in the bucket: practice multiple meaning words by placing a yellow and green apple in each bucket
-Apple stories: 1 story appropriate for grades K-2, 1 story appropriate for grades 3-5: practice listening, retell, and comprehension questions

-Leaf categories: match an orange, green, and yellow leaf with the appropriate bucket
-Leaf verbs: practice pronoun + verb sentence construction by laying out the verb cards and placing leaves over the cards when the student says a sentence correctly, includes pacing dot
-Leaf facts: learn several facts about trees/leaves and answer comprehension questions, worksheet included for your students to color
-Leaf plurals: match red and yellow leaves with irregular plurals, worksheet included to practice writing them
-Leaf articulation: open-ended leaf game for mixed groups
-Leaf pile: students will work on requesting leaves to add to their “pile,” communication board included
-Leaf stories: 1 story appropriate for grades K-2, 1 story appropriate for grades 3-5: practice listening, retell, and comprehension questions
-Leaf craft

-Helmet Hike: have students choose what color helmet they want, communication board included, print multiple copies of page 4
-Football has/have: give items to the football player, cheerleader, or the cheerleader and football player and state who has the item
-Football facts: learn about football with these nonfiction passages and answer comprehension questions, worksheet included for your students to color
-Helmet compare/contrast: have students compare and contrast the items listed on the helmet
-Football articulation: open-ended football game for mixed groups
-Where Is the Football?: students will work on multiple prepositions with this interactive mini-book, print and laminate book and the footballs on page 24, place the footballs in the named positions
-Football stories: 1 story appropriate for grades K-2, 1 story appropriate for grades 3-5: practice listening, retell, and comprehension questions
-Football craft

-Pumpkin Decoration: communication board included, use the shapes on page 5 to decorate the pumpkin on page 4
-Pumpkin idioms: match the idiom on the plain pumpkin to the meaning on a polka dot pumpkin
-Pumpkin synonyms/antonyms: roll a die and name a synonym/antonym under the corresponding number, put a bingo chip on word if correct
-Pumpkin facts: learn about pumpkin with these nonfiction passages and answer comprehension questions, worksheet included for your students to color
-Pumpkin directions: give each student a copy of page 18 and bingo chips, SLP reads directions on page 19
-Pumpkin irregular verbs: fast paced drill game, directions on page 20
-Pumpkin articulation: open-ended pumpkin game for mixed groups
-Pumpkin stories: 1 story appropriate for grades K-2, 1 story appropriate for grades 3-5: practice listening, retell, and comprehension questions
-Pumpkin craft
