Students will use dot cards to represent a number. Then, they will create sets that show less, same, & more than the original dot card.
Students are prompted to use tallies, to draw doodles, a tens frame, draw dots, or draw tens & ones to make their sets.
This activity can be used as an individual center or for remediation of the concept.
The dot cards are for numbers 1-12, but students could pull two cards & add them together for an extension activity.
