Over the years, many students become reliant on their calculators for basic arithmetic and other skills. Section 3 of the SAT requires students to do math calculations without the use of a calculator, and asks them to have basic recall level knowledge of certain theorem and postulates to solve problems.
This quiz is intended as a skills assessment for students. They should put 5 minutes on the clock and try to solve as many problems as they can without a calculator. This will help them assess their strengths and weaknesses as they study.
