PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students will read two passages about the dawn of U.S. imperialism in Latin America and Asia. Each passage is followed by questions that very accurately mimic the reading test on the newly redesigned SAT. These passages and questions are also useful for preparing for any common core reading assessment. An open-ended question is included for each passage as well – but let your students know there will be none of these on the SAT! Although SBAC and PARC do have such questions.

Take a look at the preview and you will see this is a high quality product that will give your students great practice for the SAT or other common core assessments while also teaching them about an important era in U.S. History.
