This to-scale diagram of a 36x48" trifold display board has grid lines to help students plan out what will go where. This is a hands-on way of planning--students can easily rearrange pieces and see how much space they have available for different sections--makes in-class science fair projects more manageable. I have students use this planning sheet first before preparing their display board text from their research papers, then use it as a model for what to put where after they have printed out the text.
Suggested use: Print each page on a different color of printer paper. Have students cut and arrange (or trace) the parts of their display board onto the template, then glue them down when ready.
