SCOOP! Two Syllable Card Game is a two - four player card game. It's a race to see who can read the most two syllable words before the other player gets the SCOOP!
This card game has 92 two syllable word cards and 12 SCOOP! cards. Players take turns choosing cards and reading the words. Watch out, though - if a player uncovers a SCOOP! card, s/he takes ALL of the other player's cards.
This game is great for centers, small groups, and RtI. Students will have fun while strengthening reading skills!
I created this version of the game because I needed to differentiate for my RtI groups and centers. My students had so much fun playing the Magic E version that I needed to create a similar version with a different skill. This set supports Task 9 of the Quick Phonics Screener. My other SCOOP! sets, including math versions, can be found here.
