“SCOOT Sun and Shadows” is a fun and motivating way to review Science concepts about the patterns found in the relationship between the Earth and our Sun. The concepts covered in this SCOOT game are now part of the Next Generation Science Standards for Grade 5.
I am recommending this game for grades 3-5, as many districts are still addressing this standard in grades 3 or 4.
The rules are just like your usual Scoot games, with a longer activity added at the end. There are 32 question cards in all. Break cards are also provided, giving you a way to adjust the number of cards used for fewer or more students. There are blank cards provided as well for you to add some questions unique to your unit of study.
The responses can be used as a formative assessment, or just a review before the test. A copy of the answer key also can serve as a study guide for the test!
I hope you will enjoy using this version of SCOOT to focus on Science Standards in your learning community!
