THINKING MAPS ARE VISUAL LEARNING TOOLS
Thinking Maps include eight visual patterns each linked to a specific cognitive process. They help all learners reach a higher level of learning by establishing a common language of learning. Teachers may apply Thinking Maps in all content areas and all grade levels.
This set includes:
CIRCLE MAPS have a specific format.
A CIRCLE MAP is used to brainstorm Ideas.
The INNER CIRCLE tells the student what they are going to brainstorm.
The OUTER CIRCLE provides students with space to map out ideas with pictures and/or words.
The BOX around the outer circle is called a FRAME.

SEASONS CIRCLE MAPS are great tools for your young students. Students are encouraged to brainstorm pictures and/or words that describe Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Maps can be used for Classwork, Literacy Centers, Science, and/or Homework.
