SELF-CONTROL Alien Abductors: Game for Executive Functioning & Social Skills

Children that are impulsive and hyperactive struggle with the ability to freeze time before making decisions that turn out unsafe or hurtful. This fun and interactive space themed game highlights effective strategies to combat these alien like behaviors.

Game includes:

Two space themed game boards with game piece images and die.

Alien Abductors that represent the executive functioning challenges commonly seen in children with ADHD, (Hyperactivity, Impulsivity, and Poor Social Skills). The Alien Abductors include over 70 scenarios that can be used directly with the game or individually for separate problem solving prompting.

Power categories (Feelings Flashlight, Magnetizing Friends, Freeze Time, Gravity Bubble Laser, and Thinking Helmet) that combat the invading Alien Abductors, as well promote coping and social skills. These cards that include thought provoking questions and role play prompts may also be used independent of the game.

Behavior cards to be used with hole puncher throughout the game to encourage motivation and positive behavior. And, different reward cards to be provided as earned.

Eighteen different brain break cards to be used throughout the game.
