This is an activity to practice when to use SER vs ESTAR and how to conjugate each. Teachers will need dice for the students to use in pairs or groups. With a partner, students use dice to choose what will be used in each sentence. Then students write their own sentence using the elements.
Once I introduced this activity in my class, students really began to feel confident about the difference between SER and ESTAR. They liked the repetition and seeing the verbs contrasting next to each other.
