There are 7 math story problems in this set!
This activity can be used as a lesson activity, used for morning work or at a math center. Students read the math story problem and draw the picture to represent the math problem. Then, they answer the problem, write the equation that represents the problem and lastly they must explain how they got the answer they did. They have to not only “Show their work” but also “Explain their work!”
It’s a great activity to use as a math lesson, use for morning work or at a math center!! A great review of addition, reading simple text and answering math story problems! These problems have some that identify the number and some that students must read the number word within the story problem.
