SHINE! is a new nondenominational program designed by Entelechy Education, LLC for home school instruction. It was established by a retired child development teacher and her business partner.
SHINE! always incorporates a STEM concept, a character education component, and a language literacy lesson. SHINE! includes activities, experiments, stories, introductory PowerPoint programs, gift-able crafts, and a journal prompt assessment component so it will comply with NextGen and Common Core Standards.
Download the preview to see an overview of the series and what you can expect from Basic Chemistry, which includes an e-book, a PowerPoint introduction to elements, compounds, and mixtures, a craft activity, directions to make a re-usable model of an atom, discussion guides, and reward sticker templates for the journal assessment.
SHINE! Basic Chemistry lessons last a total of 3-4 hours, depending on the degree of detail you want to include with the basic program. However, they can also be presented individually in 30-minute increments.
SHINE! Basic Chemistry is based on The EnteleTrons story, Oxygen Finds Friends. The book also helps readers value friendship and understand compound words.
Bring the FUN back into a FUNdamental education with SWIRL! modules.
