With barely any supplies (shoes and spring scales) you can do this lab. Your students will acquire data, solve for coefficient of friction, graph data, identify variables, draw free body diagrams, use Newton's second law, analyze results and answer a few questions that will force a deeper conceptual understanding of friction.
