This is a set of 20 printable BINGO game cards, using PRE-PRIMER sight words. Children can play as the whole group, or use as an activity for literacy groups.
This is a FUN way for young children to become familiar with and quickly recognize these sight words.
This is a simple teaching resource suitable for students who need this level. Because it is a game, older students, who still don't know these words are happy to play.
I'm offering this freebie as a way of introducing myself, Maree Henderson and my store.
Thanks for downloading my freebie. If you are happy you may want to check out my other SIGHT WORDS Items or this Christmas Bundle

SIGHT WORDS ACTIVITIES FOR GRADE 1
Students who learn sight words word lists have a brilliant base for being a successful reader.
These lists include the most common words encountered in children’s books. Yet, most of these words are sight words, meaning they can’t be sounded out, because they don’t follow decoding rules.
I use the master list as a calling card to play the game.
However, I have also listed some flash cards, that will make the game an independent group activity.
The caller reads individual words from the list, and each child checks their BINGO card. If the word is on the card, it is covered with a counter. The first child with all words covered is the winner. I ask them to read the words, before I declare a WINNER!
