This template will enable your students to keep all of their SIGNPOST notes in one place.
The best way to use this document is to list it on Google Classroom as an assignment choosing the "Give each student a copy" choice when you attach it. That way, you can go into that assignment on Classroom, and see all of their documents at once and comment on their notes as they type them.
Read a chapter and have each student use one box to take notes on one particular signpost--either one that you assign, or one of their choice.
Give them four signposts that you'd like to focus on during that day's reading, and have them complete that one page of notes.
Important details about the document:
This document is 25 pages long. If you think your book will need more pages, you can copy and paste the pages to add one until you reach your desired page amount. Remember, on Google Classroom, you cannot alter the document after you have chosen "Give each student a copy".
-The boxes can be typed into and will not change size until the space is maxed out, then it will continue the box onto the next page. At this point, in order to keep the four boxes on each page, I tell my students to make their font smaller in just that one box.
The first 24 pages are blank notes to be typed in, or printed and written in. The last page is a Signposts reference sheet.
