Product Description
To honor Black History Month, as an introduction to slavery in America, or as a mini-lesson, this presentation explores the foundations of slavery, the importance of the cotton gin, slaves and slaveholders, the abolition movement, the implications of western expansion, the Civil War and emancipation, and the legacy of slavery.

The History of Slavery in America

There are 50 slides, one of which includes an extensive list of sources.

The format is engaging with large clear font and over 65 relevant graphics including:

photographs, drawings, maps, works of art, and a political cartoon.

I used PowerPoint 2016. Slides can be edited.
