Product Description
This lesson is for the US involvement into World War I (both World and US History). First, students will use the PowerPoint slides to fill in the chart on SLUTZ. They will identify each of the causes, followed by summarizing each of the causes, then they will rank each cause as they see was the biggest cause for US involvement. This then leads to an open discussion or interactive listing of the causes (such as poll everywhere or interactive white board [don't have this technology currently at my school]).

After that, the students will then analyze each of the political cartoons to help better understand the rolls of the people on the home front. Using OPTIC to analyze the impact of war bonds, enlistment, and the role of women on the war effort.
