This set includes 12 weeks (60 school days) of colorful attendance sign-in questions that are easy to use. You’ll use the template to add your student names and the best thing is – you only do this once for the whole year! Then just copy your student names and paste them onto the next day’s question. Simple and fun!
Set 1: Get to Know You + Halloween + Thanksgiving + Christmas
Take attendance and analyze the day’s data to sneak in some fractions (and decimals and percents for older students). This set is designed with 60 get-to-know-you questions plus there’s as a week of Halloween questions, a week of Thanksgiving questions, and two weeks of Christmas questions. Students will move their name as they answer the day’s question. The names that haven’t been moved are the absent students. Your attendance is taken and then you can look mathematically at the data created! I love, love, love this set and so do students!
You’ll get teacher directions with visuals to show you how to add your names and how to group objects. There’s a teacher practice file with and a set of pre-made names in two color options so you can simply replace the names with your student names. I’ve included other handouts for you to use as a reference if needed. Included also are student recording sheets that have a spot for the day’s question topic, and a spot to record the trait’s fraction and decimal and percent. There is a primary version of the recording sheets and an intermediate set as well.
There are 113 pages of SMART Notebook files and PDFs in this set. You will need

Sets 2 and 3 will be coming! I will have 3 sets of 12 weeks of sign-ins so you’ll have one for each day of the year.
Start the day out right with some math in your attendance!
