This is an interactive kinesthetic game board with fun and animated graphics. Instructions:
Instructions: Page #4 is the game board. Roll the dice to determine how many spaces to move. The game tokens are the penguin and animal markers on the left hand side of the board. The first player/team will choose a token, begin at start, and move the number of spices shown on the dice. They then find the larger symbol with the number which matches the small number on the ice cube they have landed upon. Each larger symbol is a link to 6 separate game pages. Once on those pages, students click on one of 6 pictures, which are each a link to a question page. On the question page, they click on the ice cube in the upper right-hand corner to reveal the answer to the question. They then click on Peter the Penguin in the lower right-hand corner to return to the game board. If they answered the question correctly, they move forward one space. If they answered the question incorrectly, they move backward one space. Then it is the next player's/team's move. Whichever player/team reaches finish first wins the game.
Petunia Penguin, Polly Penguin, and Paul the Polar Bear are all adding fractions with common denominators games. Baby Animal Rescue, Philippe Penguin, and Herbert the Hedgehog are all subtracting fractions with common denominators games
