This is an interactive kinesthetic game board with fun and animated graphics. Instructions:
Work through the turtle race by clicking on turtle pictures on the separate game pages. Students click on a turtle which is a link to a question page. They click on the Thalia the Turtle in the upper right-hand corner to reveal the answer to the question. If they get it wrong, they click on the oops turtle to return to that page of the race. If they get it right, they click on the correct turtle to move on to the next page
of the race. Students take turns answering question. When they finish the race, they end on the victory page where balloons which will congratulate them.
This game focuses on vocabulary for language arts memoir review.
Memoir terms include: memoir, genre, contrast, reflection, compare, dialogue, pacing, description, foreshadowing, flashback, point of view, rhetorical question, thesis sentence, introduction, body, transition, conclusion, simile, metaphor, onomatopoeia, oxymoron, personification, alliteration, assonance, hyperbole, and theme.
Turtle symbols take you to the question pages which feature a total of 26 separate basic English problems. Not studying basic English; no problem. Send us your terms, math problems, etc., and for only five dollars we will make your game for you!!! The basic English game is appropriate for 7-9 th and review for older grades. The template is appropriate for all grade levels.
Don't save after playing! Just exit. It will record all the changes you have made to the game if you save. If you accidently save, don't worry, we'll email you a new copy. Mistakes happen.
