Ah, Halloween! This is a Halloween sorting activity suitable for primary grades (Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade, mostly). Sorting items into categories is a basic math skill. Students use the interactive whiteboard to sort Halloween items into two labeled trick or treat bags. A gentle “ping” sounds if they are correct. It could also be useful for children with autism, as it does not have any distracting bells and whistles.
There are 12 pages, covering 8 sorting activities. Among the items to be sorted: bats, black cats, witch hats, candy corn, (cute) ghosts, pumpkins, spiders, (friendly) monsters.
