Description
In the 21st century, students need to begin practicing goal setting and developing a growth mindset. One of the ways teachers can help students begin developing these habits is by teaching SMART Goals. This document can be used to set goals at the beginning of the school year or anytime a new student joins your class. Students are then held accountable for making a substantive action plan in which their goals are broken down into steps.
Teachers can use the mid-year reflection form to allow students to do self-reflection on their goal, their progress, and make adjustments to their plans if needed.
