1) Students will be able to partition a given quantity into two parts and identify the number of objects in each part.
2) The student will use basic problem solving skills.
I have included four copies of the page "How many different ways can you put seven fish in a bowl" to allow for group practice at solving this problem.
A "making seven" chart is included on page 7.
Pages 9-12 have more word problems for the students to figure out on their own or in groups. Instructions are on page 8.
