I'll have S'more Phonological Awareness, please!!
A fun and engaging game to address phonological awareness in the areas of:
This is a prep/full color product.
*Print all pages
*You may choose to laminate for durability
*Cut out each card
*Leave the black and white S’more building mat as is. Each student will need their own mat.
How to use in therapy:
*Give each student a S’more building mat
*Place completed S’more cards face up in a pile in the middle of the table
*Separate the ingredient cards (graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate) into three separate piles face down next to the S’more cards
*On their turn, the student draws a card from one of the ingredient piles and hands it to the speech and language pathologist (SLP) or teacher-They can draw from any pile they need to in order to complete their S’mores. For example, if they have two graham crackers and chocolate but are missing a marshmallow, they should draw from the marshmallow pile in order to complete a S’more.
*The SLP or teacher reads the question, once the student has answered the question they get the card to put on their mat
*When they have all the ingredients for one S’more they need to say, “I’ll have S’more, please!” and then they turn in their ingredient cards for one S’more card.
