I made these because my kids could use some practice with hearing and identifying beginning and ending sounds.

Just put them out with magnetic letters and have students fill in the first and last sound!

7 mats are included:

Mat #1: cat, dog, elephant, raccoon, bird

Mat #2: lion, fox, frog, bear, pig

Mat #3: banana, pear, lemon, watermelon, plum

Mat #4: coat, boot, hat, scarf, mitten

Mat #5: swim, clap, jump, run, dig

Mat #6: sun, cloud, rain, flower, nest

Mat #7: book, pencil, heart, broom, ball

All mats come in colour, black and white and a "worksheet" version where they can write their name on top (can be used as a warm up for guided writing, guided reading etc.)

I hope you enjoy using these!

Please ask me any questions you have prior to purchasing!
