This is a short lesson on pitch names for the space notes on the treble clef music staff. After students learn the space note names, they quickly transfer that knowledge to playing the notes on keyboard instruments.
The game has two options: piano or mallet percussion. There are five levels of play plus a bonus level, which includes one page of improvisation and composition (that gets us to the highest level of Bloom's!).
Level 1 starts with students reading the note on the music staff and finding and playing it on their instruments. In level 1, the game goes in order FACE and includes hints on the side of each page. Level 2 scrambles the notes. Each level gets a little harder.
After each level, there is a short sound effect just for fun. This is a wonderful assessment tool. You could start this with students in early grades and use it as a review for the older students.
