This product is a unit of work where students investigate a society issue or problem. They then use this SPARK to create a short film about the issue. The SPARKS could be things like homelessness, animal cruelty, bullying, etc.
When you get this product you will receive the following:
1. The 'SPARK Film Fest Planner': in this planner there are 5 lessons that build students' skills for making films. These five lessons go over: Camera shots, angles and movements, how to create a storyboard, claymation/time lapse/stop motion and Green Screen. Teacher's will need some prior knowledge in these areas if you want to teach the students.
After students have built their skills they need to find their SPARK and then create their film.
2. A 'How Might We...' presentation that helps students identify their SPARK.
3. A 'SPARK Group Journal Template' that outlines 9 phases students need to complete on their pathway to making their film.
