I create these binders so that students in my full-inclusion district can have things that are accessible to them when in the general education classroom. Many of my students work on these binders either independently or with their paraprofessionals as an alternative activity if their classmates are engaged in an activity that is too far above their level.
In addition to my Morning Work Binder, I've created this Binder dedicated to just Letters & Sounds. Each activity is meant to be interactive using velcro, white board markers, etc., which also allows for activities to be repeated again and again to build automaticity and to save you from drowning in worksheets! This set-up is especially useful for my kiddo's who aren't yet writers.
These activities are very simple, and visually clear. Students will have fun working at their own pace on their letters and sounds! Even if you don't have students with special needs, this binder is a great way to introduce or reinforce these skills for young students.
